This tiny needlepoint is 16 stitches to the centimetre. That is 16 stitches to 0.39 inch. Stitched with wool on silk gauze. And the size is 11.5 x 8.5 cm ( 4.52" x 3.35" ). No record of age but it cannot be newer than 19th Century. It's a beauty!
