Flamenco Orientale

OK ... A bit of music and dance for a change!

I came across this song that was very popular in Turkey about three-four years ago, an Anatolian folk song re-arranged with flamenco motifs. And you know how it is, once you are in Youtube, you get stuck! I ended up finding some nice - even though the quality not as nice - videos on belly dancing versus flamenco and castanets versus hand cymbals :)

This reminds me a of a wonderful dance group "The Fire of Anatolia" ... They perform around the world and if they come to your area, a must to see! The videos are not of high quailty but you will probably get a kick out of them.
