¡ Boutis Orientalis Finished !
When I wanted to try the Boutis technique, the only available batiste at home was an old sheet and that is what I had used for my first project. This one is also done with the same fabric and now that it is finished, I was thinking what to do with it. As seen below, I made it on a small patch. The size of the raised pattern is 16 x 12 cm ( 6.3" x 4.7" ). Actually, it may be a good idea to make a few other patches, say 20 x 20 cm ( ~ 8" ) squares, with some other embroidery techniques and make them into a patchwork sampler. Well, whatever it may turn out to, it will eventually find its niche in life :)
